A little love, a little cursing, and voila!

So, as you may have noticed, I’ve been dicking around with the layout. I decided that before I start writing my own totally gnarly posts here, I’d use the Cabin as a sandbox site to work on a layout for a local client. Oy fricking veh, what a pain in the ass!

Our current theme has some neat functions, then I found another theme that looked a little nicer and had some nicer functions. But, of course, what I really wanted was hybrid of the two sites. No problem! Except for all the problems in trying to combine all those sweet functions into one theme and maintain a clean-looking site. I love WordPress and all the cool stuff the WP community comes up with, but trying to marry php functions and css styling from different sites is a right ball buster. 

Anyhoo – I think I’ve got it set well enough that we could use it for the client’s site and not feel too bad about it.

I have to put in some time at the part time job tonite, but I’m hoping to resurrect the FNDC when I get home. Wish me luck!
